Player Select: Ryu VS Kyo

The second Player Select piece, this one featuring the main characters of two of the most popular fighting games.

On the left is Ryu from Capcom's Street Fighter and on the right is Kyo from SNK's King of Fighters.

These two actually did face each other in the Capcom VS SNK games.
I'd say they are quite well-matched. Both are skilled martial artists, with Ryu probably being stronger and more experienced and Kyo having more 'firepower'.


I should point out that the picture of Ryu is highly derivative from his depiction in the art from Namco X Capcom.
